When blow drying paper mache, should i use hot air or cold air?

im currently making a pinata and i need it by sunday so i still have a bit of time. It's my first time so im not sure if i am doing it right but i dont feel like the paper mache is drying fast enough. I am planning to blow dry it, should i use hot air or cold air? because i have read it in other articles that i can blow dry but it doesnt specify the temperature. and is it meant to be hard on the balloon?? it feels kinda soft when i touch it. Help???
