How to make paper mache without using PVA glue (read description)?

Right so I have been reading and searching on the internet, how to make a cast, and most people have said, use paper mache so I decided that I will but the problem is I don't have PVA glue and I was wondering if its possible to paper mache without PVA glue or maybe using something else instead? Please tell me if you have any ideas for paper mache without PVA glue or with something else instead of it, or maybe a different glue? thanks xx (:
