Should i get a halfmoon betta or not?

I was thinking of adding one to my mature 20 gal with harlequin rasboras. (Before anyone says anything harlequins and bettas are fine and bettas do not like small spaces they have been live in huge rice patys for thousands of years). I am wondering if these bettas require more than average care if so what should I do to help the betta be healthy?
