Paper Mache w/ Cardboard - Blender or Food Processor?

My classroom is about to start making paper and doing poured paper mache using cardboard. I was told to use a blender but the food processors I've found are cheaper and hold more. I read that you can use either but I'm wondering which one is better for cardboard. The processor may have trouble with cycling the unchopped back around but I'm not sure.
