Is it okay to use normal line paper to make paper mache?

Most people that i know use newspaper. Unfortunately, i have absolutely no newspaper. But i do have a closet filled with old tests that i failed on last semester. So is it okay if i use line paper and blank printer paper? Will there be a significant difference between that and newspaper?
