Ideas for still life drawing?

lol i feel you one the boring still life crap! had to do that all the time through out the years in art. Anyway, You're off to a good start. I suggest you think even more random, maybe go in your room and find some cool things and throw them in with what you have(shoes,bears,a lamp) just to have more ideas. try laying all the stuff out on a table and set them up in a weird yet cool way, like turning the cat in the hat book in to a house for the yo-yo or the egg atop off a mountain of Lego's. ARG i hate still life, hopefully that helped a bit.
